Five Days of Prayer Success

September 1st through 5th saw a nightly prayer vigil at United In Faith Christian Church. It was a success with over 60 members participating for at least one night, but many attended multiple nights. Each prayer session started with praise and worship songs led by Eddy Howell and Brandy Miles. That time was followed by a devotion from prior ministers. The congregation then was instructed on various aspects of prayer and given time in small groups to to go before the Lord. 

Several expressed how valuable the time of prayer was and it was hoped that we incorporate a prayer service more often. 

We also discussed our efforts at fasting for encouragement. Some chose to fast from social media, the news or food.
